WAXWING - WOBURN, BEDS

Waxwings are irruptive winter migrants, present in the UK in hugely fluctuating numbers. 2010 / 2011 winter was the best for several years. This is an adult bird, one of 100+ in a flock that frequented gardens. Rather unusually it was feeding on white Rowan berries.
